Vakkaru is 30 minutes from Male and a seaplane provides an easy, exciting connection, straight to the island. Sea planes only fly during daylight, so if your plane arrives late, you could take a domestic flight from Male. On arrival into Dharavandhoo, you’ll be greeted by friendly Vakkaru staff and board a speed boat for a 30-minute ride to the island.
